Het huis is moeilijk te vinden , ligt op het platteland vlakbij Sampieri. Straat heeft geen naam , dus best gps coördinaten ingeven. De verantwoordelijke is ons moeten komen ophalen omdat we het niet vonden. De weg naar het huis ( laatste 300 m ) is erg slecht , maar rustig rijden ( 10km max) en dan heb je geen problemen. Het huis is schitterend gelegen op een helling met uitzicht op zee ( 2km ) en omringd door een tuin van 15000 m2 vol met bloemen , kruiden , bomen en wandelpaadjes . Het huis is compleet ingericht , bestaat uit 2 units . 1 unit met woongedeelte en een 2pers slaapkamer met eigen badkamer , alles mooi , smaakvol ingericht met een vrij complete keuken en met meer dan voldoende servies en eetgerei. Hier is ook het overdekte terras met zicht op zee met kwalitatieve ligstoelen en een eettafel voor 6 tal personen. in de andere aangrenzende unit zijn er 2 slaapkamers met elk een eigen badkamer met douche. Alle deuren en vensters zijn voorzien van luiken die met dezelfde sleutels als de deuren kunnen worden gesloten en waarmee je de verluchting kan regelen , meestal is er wel wind . Het huis , de tuin en de omgeving zijn veel mooier dan de foto's laten uitschijnen. Er is ook een BBQ en de eigenaar heeft een mooie map voorzien met alle mogelijke technische details met uitgewerkte rondritten naar alle bezienswaardigheden in de buurt , horeca enz. Je ziet dat alles met veel smaak , en liefde is opgezet. Een auto is een must , voor resto en winkels moet je minstens 6km rijden en als je afwisseling wil moet je rekenen op 15km. Hou je van rust , platteland , zee , rustige stranden ( toch in deze periode ) en locale horeca ( niet duur ) , vis , pasta , pizza en lekker wijn dan is dit een aanrader. Hou er rekening mee dat Sicilië een eiland is en het voorjaar grillig kan zijn , dat hebben we zelf ondervonden.

The house is hard to find, located in the countryside near Sampieri. Street has no name, so best GPS coordinates enter. The charge is to come pick us up because we did not. The road to the house (last 300m) is very bad, but quiet drive (max 10km) and then you have no problems. The house is beautifully situated on a hillside overlooking the sea (2km) and surrounded by a garden of 15,000 m2 filled with flowers, herbs, trees and footpaths. The house is fully furnished, consists of two units. 1 unit with living area and 2pers bedroom with private bathroom, everything nice, tastefully decorated with a pretty full kitchen and plenty of crockery and cutlery. There is also a covered terrace overlooking the sea with quality loungers and a dining table for six or so people. in another adjacent unit, there are two bedrooms each with private bathroom with shower. All doors and windows have shutters with the same keys as the doors are closed and that you can control the ventilation, usually there is wind. The house, the garden and the surroundings are much nicer than the picture 's make out. There is also a BBQ and the owner has provided a nice folder with all technical details with elaborate tours to all local attractions, restaurants etc. you see everything with great taste and love has been established. a car is a must for resto and shops you need at least 6km away and if you want you must change count at 15km. Do you like quiet, rural, sea, tranquil beaches (yet in this period) and local hospitality (not expensive), fish, pasta, pizza and good wine then this is a must. Please note that Sicily is an island and the spring can be erratic, we have found ourselves.
