Simonside is in a peaceful location within easy reach of the shops, pubs and restaurants in Seahouses and close to the busy harbourside and beach. Accommodation is perfect for 4 people, the lounge is nicely furnished with soft grey sofas and a feature stone fireplace with flame effect electric fire, TV with Freeview and DVD. The kitchen/ dining room has all modern appliances and a door leading onto the delightful courtyard garden, perfect for relaxing with a coffee over breakfast. The two bedrooms are comfortable and light with plenty of storage space. Accommodation is all on one level so all rooms are easily accessible.


Simonside Cottage is a good base for exploring this beautiful area - The Heritage Coast and award winning countryside are within just a few minutes drive and the town’s amenities and 18 hole links golf course are all just an easy walk away. Take a boat trip from the harbour and visit the Farne Islands to observe the seabirds and the colony of grey seals. 3 miles north is the impressive Bamburgh Castle and 5 miles to Holy Island and Lindisfarne, (accessible at low tide along the causeway). Just south of Seahouses is Beadnell Bay with its unique west facing harbour, excellent for sailing, windsurfing and scuba diving. Fishing and horse riding are both available locally.
