Holiday cottage in rural surroundings with fjord views. Suitable for anyone who thrive in nature or for a fishing holiday.


Holiday cottage in traditional cottage style with pine panel. Living room with open fireplace/wood stove. Internet for streaming, opportunities for cable TV via fiber with Norwegian, German and international TV channels on request. One bedroom has two folding single beds. Modern bathroom with Cinderella combustion toilet, not water closet.


200 m to shallow bathing beach.

Reksteren / Tysnes is a nature paradise with marked trails and mountain hikes up to 752 masl. with great views. The fjord is rich in fish and there are several good places for angling from land. 3 km to the lake Frøkedalsvannet with trout up to 0.5 kg. 250 m from the cottage there is small boathouse with a covered filleting area with water and light, as well as a freezer and storage space for fishing equipment.


Boats for rent:

  • • 15 foot Tobias with 15 HP Yamaha.

  • • 2 x 21 foot with 60 HP engine, GPS/chart plotter/echosound, chartplotter/gps/echo sounder, 8 rod holders

  • Canoe by Frøkedalsvannet, 100 NOK pr. day, equivalent to rowing boat.


Please note: There is a 200 m steep path from the parking lot to the cottage.

Die Hütte ist traumhaft auf einem Hügel gelegen, mit einem herrlichen Blick über den Fjord. Der Aufstieg ist zwar ein kleines Workout, aber es lohnt sich absolut – oben angekommen wird man mit kompletter Abgeschiedenheit, Ruhe und viel Privatsphäre belohnt. Man ist im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes nur von beeindruckender Natur umgeben – perfekter kann man Norwegen kaum erleben.Die Hütte selbst hat eine wunderbar urige und gleichzeitig sehr gemütliche Atmosphäre und ist dabei technisch bestens ausgestattet – es fehlt wirklich an nichts. Man merkt sofort, wie viel Liebe hier in jedes Detail gesteckt wurde.Besonders hervorheben möchten wir auch die Vermieter Linn und Ole: Beide sind supernett, unkompliziert und jederzeit erreichbar. Sowohl vor der Reise als auch während unseres Aufenthalts waren sie unglaublich hilfsbereit und haben dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns rundum wohlfühlen konnten.Wir hatten eine großartige Zeit und können diese Location wärmstens weiterempfehlen – perfekt für alle, die einen authentischen Norwegen-Trip erleben möchten!
