There are wonderful cycling routes and hiking trails throughout the peninsula. Golfers will find six courses within 12 minutes, with Båstad Golf Club and its two courses located just 3 minutes away. Just north of Båstad lies Norrviken Gardens, a popular attraction. Laholm is also only a short drive away, featuring a cozy town center with small shops, cafés, and restaurants. The Lagan River winds through the town, offering excellent salmon fishing and a smokehouse with a restaurant. A fishing permit is required. The Hallandsås ridge also offers several lovely hiking trails. To the south lies Ängelholm, with its pleasant town center and the Klitterhus area with beautiful beaches. To the north is Halmstad, home to Hallarna shopping center, a lively city center, and Tylösand with its fantastic beaches, vibrant nightlife, and several golf courses.
