GEKÅS's large shopping center in Ullared is only a short drive away and also the pleasant summer town of Varberg. The city with lovely salty baths, both with and without clothes, from both sandy and rocky beaches. There is also a large range of culture here, famous market stalls on Wednesdays and Saturdays and plenty of cozy restaurants and cafés. Varberg is best known for its magnificent fortress and museum, with i.a. The box stone man and the bullet button that killed Karl X11. Next to the fortress there is a large newly built fortress bath and an incredibly beautiful Kallbadhus where there are bathing opportunities all year round. Just next door is the fine Societetshuset and a 100-year-old Warm Bath House with a wide range of activities.
