Cosy Appartement -2BR/6P- Cathédrale de Notre-Dame

The location was fantastic and incredibly convenient. However, the floors could have been cleaner for my taste. Overall, the layout was perfect for our party of four. I would definitely stay again since it’s so close to everything.

We walked into the cleaning staff still present even though we paid an extra fee for a 13:00 check-in. Email and phone requests were slow to reply. Curtain on front door was broken. No soaps/shampoos provided.

This 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit has one bedroom and one bathroom in the basement. This is not clear in the unit decription, but it should be. Many people do not want to sleep in a basement especially on a trip to Paris. The management is impersonal and poor. Belvilla by OVO used "Checkmyguest" fr for managing our booking. There was never a person to quickly or easily speak or email with like I am used to with VRBO or other vacation rental management companies. I spent many Euros on hold on phone calls trying to confirm a late check-out request. I coudn't get through and trusted the online process. This was a mistake. We returned 45 min before our late check out time, which we were charged for, to find we were locked out of our rental. We had to call and get a new code. Thankfully got through with minimal hold time and got a new door code. The entire experience was so impersonal and unappealing. The phone calls were long hold times and bad connections. The support staff sounded like they were in a call center in India. If Belvilla and "checkmyguest" actually read this, here are some unit specific recommendations. If you are going to use a computer-based property management system, then embrace it. Put all the possible information needed on your platform, like how to sort the recycling and where to put trash. Put instructions for the use of dishwasher and clothes washer. Put some highlights for restaurants and activities in the area. The unit toiletries promised on website were skimpy and heavily packaged small bottles. There were two bars of hand soap for 4 sinks. I would recommend more sustainable system of soaps, shampoos, etc that are refillable and larger. We had a reservation for 4 people and got 2 small bottles of body wash. The furnishings are sparse and we had to put our roller luggage on the floor. Since the unit sleeps 4 comfortably, I would recommend 4 foldable luggage stands be purchased for the unit.

The apartment's location is incredible, We traveled with our family of three and had plenty of space, The apartment has been nicely renovated and is easy to live in, We had some trouble getting the keys (I blame my lack of sleep on the plane), Joffrey quickly answered my call and guided me through the key access process, The two separate bedrooms and bathrooms were a major highlight, The beds were comfortable, and linens and essentials were provided, The living space looked exactly like the pictures, It was a fantastic stay!

This apartment in Paris has been beautifully renovated and is located in a fantastic spot for sightseeing, We were just a short walk away from public transport and many of the main attractions, The apartment is situated right on the Seine River - literally on the river itself, Upon entering the apartment, you step onto a bridge with a stunning view of the city, The property used to be a store front but has been converted into a living space with a beautifully done renovation, It still maintains the charm of an old Parisian building, with modern updates and an elegant color scheme, The bedrooms are on separate levels, offering great privacy, making it perfect for a small group to stay (although maybe a bit too much distance for a young child), Overall, we had a great stay, but there are a few things worth mentioning, The check-in process was a bit confusing as we didn't realize the property was next to the building where we collected the key, leading to a hectic check-in, It's possible that this information was in the manual mentioned in an email, but the link was not working, so we couldn't read it (our request for the manual went unanswered), The apartment also wasn't ready for us until after 7:00 PM, which was fine for us but could have been a major issue if it was the start of our trip (e,g,, after a long flight), As others have noted, the apartment could do with a deep clean, and while it had some essentials, we had to buy dishwasher detergent, paper towels, etc, Lastly, because the apartment used to be a commercial building, it opens directly onto the street, which was unexpected, There is a curtain to cover the glass door for some privacy, but it still felt quite exposed to me, I was a bit uncomfortable at first, but I got used to it after a few days, In general, it's a lovely place in a great location, I would recommend it with the mentioned caveats,

The top pastry and coffee place is just around the corner, Excellent facilities for 2 couples with one bedroom and bathroom on each floor, The beds were extremely comfortable and the blackout blinds were an added bonus, Excellent communication with the hosts whenever we had inquiries! We were a group of 4 and the space was perfect, The lower room offers great privacy, For a larger group, having 2 separate full bathrooms was very convenient, The apartment is equipped with modern amenities, The central location allows for easy exploration of Paris, Additionally, the team is highly responsive and communicative, making check-in and check-out a breeze,

The apartment is extremely cozy and conveniently situated in one of the most characteristic areas of Paris near Ile Saint-Louis, The flat is on the ground floor but in a peaceful neighborhood, The rooms are very spacious, allowing for a baby cot to be placed comfortably while still having plenty of space to move around, Upon arrival, make sure to check if the wifi password is working, We encountered a small issue with the password initially, but it was promptly resolved by the Check My Guest team who were very responsive, I wholeheartedly recommend this apartment and would happily return here!
