Saint Michel - Notre Dame

The apartment itself is nice, clean and the beds are very comfortable. If it’s hot out and you need to use the AC units, they make a loud sort of clanging tapping sound in the wall while it is running and for a period afterwards, so we got the apartment VERY cold then turned them off at night. The entryway is a mess, when we arrived there was broken glass and QTips all over the floor, and oddly a ton of flies. The neighborhood is fantastic, teeny shop and cafe filled streets just steps from Notre Dame and the Bato Bus. Overall a good experience with just a couple of hiccups.

Modernized apartment up a flight of narrow stairs on a pedestrian street (so know a taxi/Uber/bus/Metro will leave you approx. 2 blocks from the location which is OK once you get your bearings). The plus of that is almost no traffic noise. Lots of USB (old style) outlets where normal plugs apparently used to be. If you have new style USB C connectors, either get adaptors or have an extension cord handy to reach the remaining normal outlets. Well equipped to make your own meals if you are so inclined with all the great places to eat nearby and elsewhere. The second bedroom has no exterior window (but has a "window" into the rest of the apartment that was "interesting" and its own heating/air-conditioning unit). Two up to date bathrooms. One with two sinks and large enough for 2 people to be in it at the same time (the other a 1 person at a time bathroom). Beds were comfortable for 2 people each. The long code for the keybox was cumbersome and took a few tries, but something you only have to do to get the apartment key and then to put it back in the lockbox when you check out. Great location to walk to Notre Dame and many Left Bank locations and great bus and Metro service nearby. So a good base for exploring Paris.

A nicely decorated and equipped apartment located in the heart of the vibrant Latin Quarter, Various restaurants offering a variety of cuisines are easily available, Public transportation, including the metro, is conveniently accessible, The only issue with the apartment was the challenge in managing the hot and cold water mix in the shower, In one bathroom, we had to use the handheld shower to avoid dealing with the overhead shower that provided either cold or extremely hot water, The larger bathroom also faced similar problems with the water temperature control, The addition of under-cabinet lighting would enhance the apartment's appeal, The sofa bed was extremely comfortable,

All in all, our stay was fantastic, The flat is brand new and situated in a very lively area, However, we encountered a few minor problems: 1) The shower's temperature control was quite tricky to handle, It was either boiling hot or icy cold, there was no middle ground, Despite my numerous attempts, I couldn't figure it out and ended up taking cold showers, 2) One of the bedrooms is facing a very noisy party zone, so getting sleep on a weekend might be challenging, Yet, disregarding these two points, the flat was lovely and we enjoyed our stay, Paris is wonderful!

Dans l'ensemble, notre séjour a été fantastique, L'appartement est tout neuf et situé dans un quartier très animé, Cependant, nous avons rencontré quelques problèmes mineurs : 1) Le contrôle de la température de la douche était assez délicat à gérer, C'était soit brûlant, soit glacial, il n'y avait pas de juste milieu, Malgré mes nombreuses tentatives, je n'ai pas réussi à le comprendre et j'ai fini par prendre des douches froides, 2) L'une des chambres donne sur une zone de fête très bruyante, donc dormir un week-end peut être difficile, Pourtant, en faisant abstraction de ces deux points, l'appartement était charmant et nous avons apprécié notre séjour, Paris est magnifique !

A lovely two-bedroom flat in the heart of Paris, Recently refurbished, although not to the best of standards, Regrettably situated above a bustling bar area, which resulted in a lot of noise all night, Comfortable, with not many stairs and it was sufficient for our 2-night stay, however, we had a better sleep at the following accommodation!
