However, a few downsides were that the pictures were not entirely accurate - the sofa and the carpet were heavily stained (I had to roll up the carpet and cover the sofa with a towel), There were a couple of damaged items in the apartment and not a single roll of toilet paper to begin with, Thankfully, Monoprix was extremely near, Another negative aspect was the loudness and light from the corridor flowing into the bedroom - it was inescapable as people were coming and leaving at all odd hours, (Or decided to clean the hallway stairs at 4am on Thursdays) If you're someone who enjoys partying and doesn't value sleep much, this could be an ideal location, Otherwise, I would recommend ear plugs and a sleep mask, On the whole, I'm pleased I discovered this neighborhood and all the convenience it offers,

We reserved a 4 night stay but ended up leaving after just 1 night because of the extensive construction happening right across the street and next to the building, The view from the only window was mostly covered by scaffolding from a tall building being built, and we were disturbed by loud banging noises starting early in the morning, Although the unit was nicely furnished and clean, it was very small with no storage space for clothes or suitcases, and there was barely enough room to change in the small common area, Accessing the unit required climbing a steep and uneven flight of stairs, which could be challenging for those with mobility issues, While we were not familiar with Paris, we found the surrounding area unappealing, with a mix of shops and cafes along with some adult entertainment establishments, making it feel less pleasant compared to other parts of Paris, The construction had apparently been ongoing for over 3 months without prior warning, Despite these issues, the host was friendly and quick to respond,

We really enjoyed our time here! Such a great spot with that Parisian flair, The area felt really secure and there were lovely cafes and bars nearby, The place was spotless and the bed was super cozy, Thanks for making our Paris trip so memorable!
